Two Types (Regulated / Non Regulated)
A regulated profession is one that is controlled by provincial and territorial (and sometimes federal) law and governed by a professional organization or a regulatory body.
Generally 2 main types of occupations are regulated in Ontario:
Regulated occupations such as physicians, nurses, lawyers. Skilled trades such as plumbers and electricians. For both, you need a license or certificate to work with the Regulatory Body for your occupation. Call Global Experience Ontario – 416-327-9694
